Bringing Love to Life
Sometimes, some weddings feel less like an event and more like a story that we get to bear witness to. Soft, layered, and brimming with heart. That was Mark and Max’s day at Arbor Crest Wine Cellars in Spokane, Washington. A celebration wrapped in love, laughter, and the kind of love that doesn’t just belong to two people, but to everyone who helped bring it to life.
Arbor Crest is the kind of place that stops you in your tracks. Tucked away on a cliff that overlooks the Spokane Valley, it’s already not your average wedding venue based on views alone. Add in a century old three story house with panoramic views and jaw dropping stone and ivy structures throughout and you’ve got one of the most beautiful venues in Spokane. It’s romantic without trying too hard, and the perfect stage for a wedding that was equal parts heartfelt and breathtaking
Why Arbor Crest is One of Spokane’s Best Wedding Venues:
For couples looking for a romantic Spokane wedding venue, Arbor Crest offers:
- Unmatched panoramic views of the valley
- Historic elegance with the Cliff House estate
- Gorgeous gardens and natural stone terraces ideal for photos
- And so, so much more.
As an artist, I have to appreciate the way that Arbor Crest lends a hand to couples seeking whimsical and elegant tones for their wedding day while also keeping space for a romantic and couple centered vibe.
Love, Hand-Tied
Max’s grandmother — now a florist by heart, if not by trade — signed up for a floral arrangement class when she heard her granddaughter was engaged. Not only did she create every single beautiful floral arrangement, but she even grew the flowers herself.
Mark’s mom, too, was a steady hand and heart in the planning — the kind of presence that makes everything feel more possible. Her love for both Max and Mark was evident in every thoughtful moment of support, assistance and speech.
This wedding was such an incredible reminder of what is truly at the core of a wedding – love and devotion in its many, many forms. Something special happens when people show up for the ones that they love. It’s nothing short of magic and it never gets old to watch.
Vows
Their ceremony took place between two giant trees filled with creeping ivy. You really don’t need much of an arch when this view is what’s framing your ceremony!

The Afterparty

A Wedding Woven With Meaning
Mark and Max’s day was more than beautiful. It was intentional. It was the result of community, care, and the kind of love that expands outward into family, into friendship, into the hands that arranged the flowers and strung the lights.
